Dear Family and Friends,
Well we had a splendid week of being busy! I love being busy! It is a great feeling, but only if you get everything done that you have planned. Well ya Elder Erickson and I have been having a lot of fun teaching the people that we have and just simply teaching a lot. The best part is seeing people progress in the gospel no matter how much they are progressing. I love it! We are also connecting with the ward better and you can see in the energy starting to build here! We have a lot of Brazilians in our branch so Eu aprendo português. haha It is fun to try and falamo português com eles. So that is a lot of fun:) And I had a pleasant surprise on Sunday. Franca decided to show up in Innsbruck!! She is from the Landshut branch and it was so fun to see her! So weird to me that, that was last almost a year ago when I got to Landshut. I WILL go back there. I my need to bribe president to let me go there as my next area and finish my mission there. That would be a dream come true! it is funny, Elder Erickson tells me that, I am not trunky, or at least trunky for home, but I am major trunky for Landshut! haha Funny, but true... Love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week!

Dear Family and Friends.

Not too much to report. We committed someone to be baptized on the 18th of July! Woot! His name is John and he is a handful! He came to church yesterday and LOVED it!

We had a really amazing lesson with Heather this week along with her girls! It was a really good experience for everyone involved. Heather started to express what a prophet was to her and how she found comfort in the idea. I love this family so much. It's amazing how you can feel how much God really does love His children. It's something that I'm going to miss terribly.

I hope everyone has a great week!
Love you all!

Dear Family and Friends,

Hey family and friends! This last week was a good one again:) we were
able to teach and see the progression of pur investigators! It really
is the coolest thing to see people progress in their understanding of
this gospel! For example this week we taught one of our investigators,
who has a baptismal date for july 11( pray for him!) but in this last
week he has made so much progress that he might be baptized at the end
of the month! We are super excited for him. Er ist einfach toll! Haha
We are also hoping to see another investigator enter the waters of
baptism really soon as well. She just needs to see another baptism to
get that over whelming answer she is looking for. It is kinda funny
because everyone tells her she is basically a member, but just not
baptized. She literally comes to every activity! Well that was the
week in a nut shell love you guys!

Elder Killpack

P.s. Sorry that was from last week... I thought it sent...

HUMP DAY!! Wow a year already that is so crazy to me! I cannot believe
how fast the time has gone! We had a very eventful week this last
week! So to start it off we got Ipads last tuesday and we are so
blessed now to be able to use them in achieving our purpose! I have
already seen the blessings of using them to help answer peoples
concerns. But at the same time we are making sure we are the ones
teaching not some speaker from a general conference in the nineties!
We have seen, again, our investigators taking such big steps of faith
and have seen their progression of coming nearer to Jesus Christ! I am
so excited for them all and cant wait to see the day when they enter
into the covenant of baptism whenever it may be! Thank you all for
your support it means a lot to have family and friends back home
cheering me and this work on! We also had transfer calls on Saturday,
and Elder Erickson and I are staying, but we have a rather strange
thing going on... We have four elders in our area but we dont all live
in the same apartment. The other elders live in Telfs which is a half
hour out of the city, so we are closing our area and moving into their
old apartment and taking over both areas. So it will be pretty
intense! I hope it all works out because all our investigators between
us and the Telf elders live in the city! But I will all work put I
know it! I love that imner area transfer haha!

Friends and Family,

This week has been emotionally confusing. To be completely honest well over the past 18 months has a huge emotional rollercoaster. Never in my life have I been so exhausted and frustrated, but never in my life have I been happier.

Missions are weird.

As I near the end of my mission (it's not my fault that I know it's coming.. Would everyone just stop reminding me!) I have been, for lack of a better term, a basket case.. But it's usually only at night time when I'm about to fall asleep when reality hits and I slowly and silently cry myself to sleep..
I've gotten to be pretty dramatic on my mission haha

Over all we are doing really well in this area. The ward is amazing, investigators are progressing (some slower than others) and there are plenty of good times.

Heather is doing really well. She is such a strong woman. I look up to her a lot. She is just what I want to become. She has great faith and I know that she will be able to recognize the answers she has already gotten. I can feel that Heavenly Father loves her so much and knows her. He is going to work wonders in her life. I'm excited to see what comes.

We also got to go to the Temple! Man.. I love the temple. I got some REALLY interesting answers this time around. I'm so grateful for personal revelation!

My last thought is all about the Lord's timing. I don't believe that anyone is placed into our lives at a specific time just by happenstance. I know that God knew I needed to be in Ohio at this time for a reason. Why else would the age change be lowered? The people I have met and been able to serve have left such a lasting impression on me. I'm so grateful for the Lord's timing in his work. and not just in missionary work, but in our daily lives.

There is a quote from a devotional given back in the day when BYU I used to be Ricks. I heard it had a training recently and It has stuck with me ever since.

"Why were you born when you were born? Why weren’t you born in 911, or 1215? Is it because some computer in the cosmos blipped and you came out now? I don’t buy that. I believe you were born in this dispensation, with the gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today, because you were somebody before you got here. If you had any idea of who you were before you got here, the hair would stand up on the back of your neck."
-Hyrum W. Smith

We have the restored gospel at this time for a reason! Go find out what that reason is! I still haven't figured it out but I'm grateful that I have a lifetime to find out why I'm here.

I love you all! I know that each of you have been put into my life for a reason and I'm eternally grateful!
Love,

Sister Love

GREAT WEEK..

I am exhausted. But it's the good kind of exhaustion.

We are finally done with Mini Mission week... Or as my companion liked to call it "mission babysitting week" It was a fun filled week of showing those Sisters what a "real" mission is like by trying to make it has fun as possible.

But by doing that it really was an amazing week with a lot of tender mercies!

We taught our investigator Heather and her sweet family this week and both of us can not figure out what it is that is really holding her back. She mentioned that she feels like everyone else that she has met has been a member their whole life and that they can't really understand. I completely understand how hard it would be to not have been raised in this church, but what she doesn't understand is that everyone in this church needs to find out if it is true on their own through the spirit. I had to. I still have to have the spirit with me daily to make it through. This gospel is not a won and done religion. It is something that we will never fully comprehend in this Earth life, but I hope that she can see that she does know enough.
We watched a video of President Uchtdorf and she got so excited to see him "oh! I love him!!" Hence my companions response as the subject of this email as we walked out of her house.

Well that's all for this week!
Love you all!

Dear Family and Friends!

It has been an incredible week! <--- How most of my emails start out.. But this one really was amazing!!

To start it all off Sister McDonald and I have been working our tails off in the little town of Sunbury Ohio. We have been busy visiting all sorts of Less Active Members, Potential and Former Investigators, and also finding people by talking with everyone we see (literally EVERYONE! It's intense.. ) and doing community service!

We were able to do some service at a cancer rely project. It was a really cool experience to see how everyone in this little town has such faith in God and in everything working out for the better. The town also already knew who we were from the previous sisters work. I'm so grateful for all the seeds that have already been planted here!

We also picked up our mini missionaries on Saturday morning!! Our mission lets any youth ages 16 to 18 come out with the missionaries for a week and we got two! It's really helpful because we have so much to do in this area so we have been splitting up our efforts! Sister Argyle and Sister Sines are both amazing young women who have a ton of fire for missionary work! And the Lord is blessing us for that.

On Saturday night we got a text from a Former Investigator named Heather. She asked what time church was in the morning and that she wanted to bring her daughters with her. She ended up staying for Sacrament meeting and this ward was so genuine and kind to her. She is really searching, but I think that her search will come to an end soon because she already looks like a Mormon.

We also got I Pads this week... blech. haha I'm having the worst time getting used to it.. But it is still a really good tool for missionary work and I'm sure this mission will continue to explode!

I love you all so much!
Have a great Week!
Love,

Sister Love

Dear Family and Friends,

So I am SO sorry that I didn't send a big email last week. I had some
complications last week that made it very frustrating. But I am on
this week with a little bit of time because we had an Intense P day so
I will try to update you guys on everything!!!! So last week we were
able to work a little bit more with our investigators in the sense
they we met with them more often!!! We taught quite a few lessons
last week and were able to see 4 investigators in church! That was
Amazing! Then this week were able to really see our Investigators
grow! When I got here two weeks ago we were struggling with people
accepting the invitation to be baptized, or setting it as a goal. Well
this last week we were able to have three of God´s Children accept to
be baptized within the next 6 weeks or so!!! They are all so willing
and two are VERY ready and should already be baptized! haha I love
these people and I am so grateful that I can be here to help these
people. Please Pray for them that they will be able to accomplish
their goals! Satan works so hard on these poeple when they get close,
and I just want so bad for them, daß sie einfach sich taufen lassen
werden. Ich habe diese Volk so viel Lieb!!! Ich weiß Daß Jesus sie
auch liebt. Ich kann es echt stark spüren. Der Geist ist immer dabie
als wir Zeugnis gegeben haben, daß er die liebt. I know that the
Lord´s love is real. I have felt it through the Holy Ghost, and
therefore I CANNOT, CANNOT, deny it, nor will I deny it. He has given
me enough, and with that knowledge He has given me, I will share it. I
will share it with all those who will listen, because it is POWERFUL.
It has changed my life and is still changing me. I Know He lives. I
know He loves us. I know this is true. I love you all and I hope you
will feel of the Saviors love for you as well!

Hello Family and Friends!!

It has been quite the whirlwind! I'm in a new area, new companion, new everything!

It all started on Wednesday Morning when we saw that we had missed a call from President Daines (The scariest moments of my whole mission have involved guns or missing calls from mission Presidents) I called him back and He informed me that I would be followup training!!

I was excited to say the least, but also terrified because I thought that I was receiving another Sister that had a lot of difficulties with her Trainer..

But to my surprise on Thursday morning I heard the words "Being doubled-in to Lewis Center 2, Sister Love as Follow-up Trainer will receive Sister McDonald!" Our reaction was pretty ridiculous when we found out!! She had served with me on OSU for the entire transfer before this!!

AND I LOVE HER!

We have had so much fun together already, but It has been hard to say the least. The Elders that were in this area didn't keep any records so we have no idea what happened for the past 6 months here. The other Elders in our ward have the same dilemma so we are all starting from scratch.

I was feeling very overwhelmed my 2nd night here and wasn't sure what to do so I decided to pray. It was only after my prayer that I felt confident that the way would be shown to us. The next morning we got a ride from a recent convert and his wife to church. They had invited their friend as well and he accepted! He wants to learn more and we are planning on teaching him this week!

Even if nothing more comes from that I know that Heavenly Father hears our prayers and that He will always provide the way.

"Remove any of your fear with faith. Trust the Power of God to guide you." -Elder M. Russell Ballard

Also I was so sad to hear of the death of Elder L. Tom Perry. He was the most amazing man! and He served his mission in Ohio so he will be greatly missed.

But the church is still true!!

Love you all! Have a great week!
Love,

Sister Love
