It was a good week here in Landshut we are starting to teach a lot of lessons! We taught 12 lessons this week, which is pretty good here. We have 7 baptismal dates!! The thing is, is that dates don't mean anything unless they actually get baptized!
We taught Adwoa and Pratt twice this week! They are a cute little family they have two young kids and are really trying to find the right way in coming to Christ! Adwoa is scared about life because she doesn't want to go to hell. We were able to teach her the Plan of Salvation and were able to help get rid of that fear!! The Plan of Salvation is the greatest thing in our gospel!! I love it so much because it helps us everyday whether we know it or not. One of my favorite quotes now is "Faith is the antidote to Fear." That is so true. If we have faith in the Plan of Salvation then what is there to worry about. We all know people that have died and it feels like we will never be able to see them again or think it will be possible. That is the beauty of this Plan of Happiness. We can know through our faith that this is not the end. We have people waiting for us. Some people are waiting just to be with us again and are as happy as could be. There are also the other people such as the Granz's who are trying everything they can on the other side to get their work done and that alone gives me the faith that we will see these people again. Especially people who we have lost that were so close to us!! So think about your fears, then think about your faith concerning those fears. If your faith doesn't relieve the fear, then find out why and grow your faith. We are here to grow and learn and the more we do that, the more our faith/antidote will grow and overcome all of our fears. I know this is true because I have seen this in my life and see it start to change the lives of the people around me. This is why faith is the first principle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!
Oktoberfest!! Oktoberfest was a blast! I love Germany. We had our Lederhosen and were looking mighty german in the biggest party in the world! Had a classic Brotwurst and enjoyed watching people sing drinking songs and enjoying the german culture, the only problem was that nobody there wanted our Das Wort der Weissheit pamphlets! (Word of Wisdom) They really do know how to have a good time here without being totally out of control haha. I will send some pictures and videos hope you guys like it!!
